I know I’m supposed to save the fash for Accessory Wednesday but there are so many Autumn Knits bargains around at the moment that I can’ t wait. Although I hate winter weather, winter fashion is another thing altogether – gorgeous sweaters are more than adequate compensation for a few grey days. So this is just a little scoot around some knitwear offers I’ve found (so many sales and offers at the moment – I don’t remember so many in previous years). The pictures for the wool Boden Woven Front sweater above don’t do it justice but I’ve seen it worn in both colourways and the textured front is a little bit boucle with a sparkle thread through it – each time I’ve seen it worn I think how great it looks. It’s in a sweatshirt cut so pretty much goes with everything from a little black skirt to jeans. One thing though, you do need to go up a size with this one and if you like that cut loose, two sizes. It was £79 but Boden has an offer at the moment making it £71.10 HERE.

Acne Sweater
Acne Sweater

Slogan sweats are tricky – they invite comment (as I know to my cost from my Mango HAPPY sweat – ‘you don’t look happy’ or ‘more like Dopey’.. I know… RUDE!) and they also mean that everyone ends up staring at your chest trying to read it (see my t-shirt from Wildfox with a Romeo & Juliet sonnet printed on it!) But this sweat from Acne has it just right I think – great neutral shade – you don’t really need to focus in on what it says because it’s so obvious and it’s as at home with sweat pants or jeans as it is with leather trousers. My Wardrobe has lots of offers on at the moment so this is reduced from £150 to £127 HERE.

MarKus Lupfer Bunny Bird
MarKus Lupfer Bunny Bird

I spotted this Markus Lupfer wool sweater in Fenwick a few weeks ago and by the time I’d made the decision to splash out, it had sold out. Which has rather worked out for the best because it’s reduced from £295 to £250 (I know.. I’m wincing even at that) HERE. Things can go a bit awkward when designers try and blend animals (see the cat-bat for a good example) but I think the bunnybird is kind of cute and whimsical.

Katsumi Sweater

I’m not sure why this gold collared Katsumi Sweater is even in the sale, but it is! It’s reduced from £42 to £18 in a wool blend with all sizes still available *puzzled face*. It’s HERE.
