It’s virtually only moments ago that fabulous make up brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge, was snapped up by on-line beauty retailer, Already, though, several items are on a wait-list having sold out within days of the launch. There’s no disputing that this spike in sales is blogger led, since mainstream media have yet to get their teeth really into RBR. Sales of RBR have completely exceeded expectations – I had a quick chat with Zu, owner of, and here’s what she had to say.

We’ve had a fantastic first few weeks with Rouge Bunny Rouge. The brand has been extremely well received so far and I’m delighted to say that the buzz around the brand has so far been mostly blog led. I am a huge fan of blogs and read them avidly as they are one of the few sources of relatively unbiased product advice available. It also helps me keep track of what is going on in the market. I like to see what the average, but fabulous, beauty junkie thinks of the new trends, ingredients and technologies. The fact that the gorgeous Rouge Bunny Rouge is being talked about so positively in the blogs is a great sign as it means it has the potential to grow into the sought after and successful brand it deserves to be!”

Personally, I love to see small brands – especially independent ones – go from strength to strength, and it is testament to bloggers spotting a good thing when they see one that this is happening now with RBR. And, it’s also a great reward for bloggers to get indisputable proof that we are right!
