If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount of BBs entering our market, hold onto your hats, because it won’t be long before we are deluged with next-generation BBs in the form of CCs. CC stands, apparently, for Colour Control, but no doubt different brands will adapt this initial description to whatever they want. So, what does a CC bring to the party that a BB doesn’t? Good question. I’m still working it out for myself but it seems to be a BB with extra coverage and extra skin nutrition with a lighter texture and a higher element of SPF than BBs have. I’ve mainly seen them on Korean sites so far, and the one pictured above from iFiona contains EGF as its ‘extra’ but a certain prestige brand is bringing one to market (called Complete Correction Cream) any second and where they lead, others usually follow.
Don’t say you weren’t fully warned!
