Ameliorate Skin Softening Bathing Powder

Ameliorate Skin Softening Bathing Powder

If you’re a regular reader of BBB, then you’ll know that Ameliorate is a brand that I absolutely love for its ability to get rid of bumpy skin. My favourite product from the range is the Ameliorate Skin Smoothing Body Polish that uses both physical and enzymatic exfoliators to leave the softest skin. It’s helped so much with both back of arm bumps and top of leg bumps, but I must admit that I use it mainly in the summer. So, Ameliorate’s newest product is a Bathing Powder (still in its lab sample format in the pictures) containing a fairly simple formula of salts and sodium bicarbonate, along with oat extracts and sweet almond oil, but they’re put together in the exactly the right amount to soften and soothe skin.

It’s often the case that if you have reactive skin, a bath makes things worse. There’s a huge difference in water across the country (for example, if I’m in Scotland, I need far less shampoo than if I’m London) and I find that the hardness of London water is drying on the skin. So, a bath where you don’t get out with skin feeling tauter than you went in with is a relief.

The Ameliorate Skin Softening Bathing Powder doesn’t launch until January 2016 (by which time, if the cold has got you and your skin, a dive into a bath full of soothing oats will be just the thing you need) but it’s well worth looking out for when it does. As you can see, it comes with a scoop so you know exactly how much to use and I feel certain that you will feel the relief on your skin.

Im the meantime, if you haven’t tried the Ameliorate Smoothing Body Polish, it’s a revelation. You can find it HERE (£27.50).
