Aesop Animal Wash

AESOP ANIMAL

I’ve got to admit, I was pretty thrilled when Aesop sent me their Animal wash. I have two little dogs, Honey and Coco, and wash-day isn’t exactly a barrel of fun since they both behave like they’ve been asked to swim the Channel and make the most monumental fuss. Anything that makes it better is good with me, and I LOVED using this special wash. It’s got Lemon Rind, Tea Tree and Spearmint Leaf in it, but the smell is not overpowering (dogs don’t like strong smells on their body as it can interfere with their olfactory senses). The botanical extracts are chosen for being deodorising, antifungal and anti-inflammatory, and the formulation is very mild but still does a great job at shifting the mud from those paws! It’s £25 for 500ml and you can find it HERE.

China Poodle from Lovely’s Vintage

Here’s a sneaky look at my newest poodle! I bought this from Lovely’s Vintage HERE. Isn’t she pretty? Thankfully, she doesn’t need washing.

I want to see a pic of your real Poodles! What colors are they? Mine are black and silver. Love those little dudes. It took a couple of years for mine to like baths but now their water dog history is in play and they love them. Minus a few messy shakes here and there bath time isn’t too big of a hassle. I’ll have to look for this wash sometime. We usually use a shampoo brand called Pal Dog that smells like lavender and mint.
