Etude House Aegyo-sal image from My Fat Pocket

Okay, so this is going to seem a little crazy to UK beauty lovers – a product to give you eye bags. Aegygo-sal eyes are currently bang on trend in Korea. I’ve just been reading up on the subject from Michelle Phan and the reasoning behind it is that plumpness under the eyes is considered to be cute – child-like. The look is more about puffy eyes than eye-bags per se.

With careful contouring – I don’t suppose you really need the Dear Girls Cute Eye Maker – you can create a look of pudgy eyes. Since we spend pretty much an adult life time trying to get rid of eye-bags, it seems very strange that there is a product to add them back should you want to! However, I love this about Korean beauty – always turning things on their head to make a negative a positive! Don’t even start me on Puppy Eye liner though – the opposite of the cat eye, it creates a downward droop.

Would you do the aegyo-sal eye look? There are plenty of tutorials out there if you want to give it a go.
