Accessory Wednesday: Uniqlo Airism
For anyone who gets too hot on humid and sticky nights, Uniqlo Airism is the answer. I’ve literally bought in bulk. As a brand, Uniqlo is right up there in terms of fabric technology, and as anyone who’s ever bought any Uniqlo Heat-tech will testify, they really do work.
Basically, Airism is made from a very lightweight fabric that wicks moisture away from your skin meaning that you pretty much stop sweating. So, whatever the reason for feeling the heat, it’s proving to be the solution. I know some people just run to hot, others might be menopausal (in which case, it won’t stop any flushes but will reduce the feel of the perspiration on your clothing and bedding), and others, like me, start off snuggled in a duvet because you’re chilly and gently boil in your sleep until you wake up thinking you’ve landed in the Sahara.
My one complaint is that the design isn’t that strong.. I have five or six of the basic strappy vest things and I’d love some loose loungewear style pyjama bottoms to go with them. They have one kind of PJ set but it ain’t pretty! Airism also has a range for men and a range for children, which could stop the hot-toddler thing.
Anyway, there’s nothing bank breaking about this range.. slip tops start at £9.90 HERE.
