I never do more than one A/W, but this one is TKMaxx and they don’t have stuff forever. I’m flagging up the Cynthia Rowley long hooded cashmere cardi because at £69.99 it’s a bargain, and I actually have one in black (no hood) that I wear with my pj’s in winter. I’m not really a dressing gown kind of person – god knows I have enough towelling robes that people have given me over the years, but a) I’m drowning in them because they’re so big, and b) I always feel like I’m in hospital wearing one! Before I got my (black) long cashmere cardi, I’d just wander about in blankets.. which doesn’t really make any sense now! Why didn’t I just put a jumper on!

I wear mine all the time in winter so thought it was worth noting before they sell out – TKMaxx don’t have regular stock so you just have to get things when you see them because they’ll probably never come round again. Although, now I say it, I managed to get one last year albeit with no hood. It’s HERE and there is a grey option too, or black with no hood. My cashmere cardi is M but unlike most cashmere brands, I find Cynthia Rowley quite generous.
