I completely forgot to post any accessories yesterday – it totally went out of my head, but I’ve been looking at handbags. Now, I’m no stranger to a heavy cash drop on a bag, but I’ve been looking at some of them and thinking – no way! £2,000 is just far too much for something to keep your tissues and a spare lipstick in.. it’s just not going to happen. There are also some spectacularly horrible ones around – notably the Alexander McQueen weird-shape clutches – they’re every single shape of hideous I can think of.
But while I was scouring around for bags, I spotted this one from Mulberry (above). I’m a bit fan of a light coloured bag in winter.. especially this creamy fawn shade – and it’s got enough room to squirrel away your M&S ready-meal to take home for dinner and nobody is any the wiser. At £325, I don’t think it’s outrageous.. it looks posh and premium and it’s not the kind of mind-bending price that some of the other are. I always though the Bayswater was over-rated anyway.
