Jigsaw Poncho
Jigsaw Poncho

I’ve always been a bit averse to a poncho – I’m not sure they’re amazing for shorter people (I’m 5ft3) unless they’re spectacularly drapey like this one, from Jigsaw. It’s practically a blanket with a hole for your head to go through and the easiest possible wear. Chunkier ponchos can have a bit of a mushroom effect (leaving your legs looking like stalks) but when they’re in a very loose knit like this they’re just so handy for everything from watching TV in your PJs to just giving an extra layer of warmth over whatever you’re wearing. Ponchos tend to look best when they’re casual – you can’t really posh up a poncho so in my view, jeans are a poncho’s natural match.

This one is available in 3 colourways – navy (the one on my wishlist), dark grey and oatmeal. I’m dropping massively heavy hints in the BBB household that I want this wrapped and ready because you know when you see something and you can can see yourself wearing it straightaway without needing to even ponder it? Well, that. It’s £98 HERE.
