So, if you don’t know HotSquash, then it’s going to be something of a work-wear revelation as it was to me. HotSquash specialise in technologically smart fabrics – one section keeps you cool and the other keeps you warm depending upon which way you need to be (Cool-tech or Thinheat). I’m obsessed with staying warm in winter (it’s essential for me because I have a genuine allergy to the cold resulting in blisters and hives… yes, really!) and that’s not always easy for work when a chunky sweater and furry boots just won’t cut it. The trousers above, (£135 HERE) unbelievably, are also water repellent – just made for those of us who live with the constant shifts of British weather. There’s always a cloud lurking!
Hot Squash Black Keyhole DressThe Keyhole Dress above has the advantage of sleeves, but still lets you keep cool (not everyone wants to show their upper arms.. that would be me!) and it’s £150 HERE. Add in the fact that integral anti-bacteria ions keep your clothes odour free and dry twice as fast as other fabrics (with a minimum iron needed.. if any) you can see why they’re pretty indispensable for busy women. It’s also available in the warm technology too.
Hot Squash Tie Back DressThe Tie Back Dress (£79, HERE) is perfect for a quick smart look – just throw it on and you’re the lady in red! Nothing is bulky, so if you’re travelling light or trying to beat Ryan Air maximum carry-on allowance, job done. What I like best about theses clothes is that they have a lounge-wear feel but look amazing – I can vouch that they’re incredibly comfortable to wear.
Hot Squash The BibaliciousIts not all about work-wear – the Bibalicious top above (£35, HERE) is properly loungey and keeps you cosy as well. Design-wise, HotSquash have done what you-know-who Heat-tech haven’t quite managed with really wearable, flattering clothes that help you regulate your body temperature (you ask a woman of a certain age and you’ll know how handy that can be in the battle against sudden over-heating!), are easy to maintain (who has time to iron?) and are actually made to fit and flatter a woman’s body, curves and all.
It’s just clever, clever stuff.
