A Birkin Bar, You Say?

Um, seriously? A bar that serves Birkins. Well, kind of. If you don’t know LXR&Co, it’s a website that deals in pre-loved luxury. Gucci, Dior, Prada – you name it, they’re all there. And the Birkin Bar exists in real-life as well as on the website; there’s one in SoHo (NYC) and one in Beverly Hills. We’ll flag up straight away that buying a Birkin, new or already loved, is like taking on a second mortgage. except you can’t actually live in your handbag.

However LX&Co has some stunning finds – we’ve scooped Chanel jewellery more often than we should – with Prada Clutch bags at £145 instead of £255. You need to keep a regular eye on the site – items can come and go very quickly – but we love this luxy recycling plant that takes the guilty sting out of designer beauties.
