3INA Coloured Mascara Review

[unpaid/sample] Are we ready for coloured mascaras as they make the rounds again? Who can forget Clinique Black Honey? Everyone has had a crack at coloured mascaras over the years but these beauties from 3INA are doing it better than anyone I can remember.

3INA Coloured Mascara Review

I realise they look pretty daunting – I’ll say from the get-go that the way to wear these, if you’re not heading to a festival, is with a light stroke of black over the top. That way you get the best of both worlds by dampening the brightness slightly but keeping the background brightness – it works. If you want to magnify the colour, use a coat of white underneath.

The brush, in my view, is overly complicated, but it does lay down a lot of colour and takes the lashes high. I definitely saw extra length. I know that all mascara formulas are pretty much the same, with just margins of variety, but 3INA seems to have nailed a formula that delivers on properly colouring the lashes and giving length and volume. There are 8 shades – an olive green that I’d definitely be up for – and they are all numbered rather than named.

Purple (my favourite) is 482 and green is 793. I think I’ve tried the yellow one before – I’ve got a memory of it from last summer. Not sure I’d go back to that one! They’re £12 each and definitely worth a dabble, I think. Find the range HERE.

Love these on you Jane! Instant pop of colour and fun. Yes Clinique bring back your coloured mascaras too please (I got jumbo plum or something like that and have still got it for nostalgia purposes).
Kiko always have coloured mascaras (lovely deeper tones for the most part). Happy Thursday Jane x
