111SKIN

There is so much skin care launching at the moment, but this one from plastic surgeon, Dr Yannis Alexandrides, is causing an anti-ageing stir. It’s having a big launch into Harrods in April with masterclasses for customers to learn about the sceince.

What you need to know

– It’s very techy.

– 111SKIN uses space science technology (and that means testing ingredients in space but I’ll have to ‘fess up that I don’t think Dr Yannis went there himself!).

– It uses patented ingredient NAC Y2 to target skin on a cellular level. The formula combines NAC, Vitamin C and Escin (to increase blood circulation). NAC and Vit C increase Glutathione, a vital antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental extremes.

– 111SKIN works from within the skin’s cells to strengthen, and therefore give younger looking skin.

The product range is for those who love sciency skin-care and ingredients with a bit of a twist; for me, I’ll probably never get my head round it, but what is more interesting is that it is causing a buzz in the beauty industry; and if they’re buzzing it means it is probably rather good.

I think techy brands tend to really make a difference. Can’t wait to try this one. Been looking for something new and exciting.

Sounds amazing, so many fab skincare lines launch into Harrods! Showed my Mum this post and she subtly hinted this would make a nice birthday gift…
