I ♡ Makeup #Selfie Palette Swatched

I think the I ♡ Makeup #Selfie palette is my favourite of the new I ♡ Makeup line-up – for being like nothing else more than anything. But, just a small point.. on my palette, while it looks like the palette will open left to right, it actually opens right to left which has the strange effect of making the word #Selfie seem upside down. If you didn’t spot my Instagram film on #selfie (@britbeautyblog) which shows it in detail, the top of the palette is holographic – and brilliantly so.. it’s different colours every time you move it.

Inside, there is a great line up of neutrals through darks, some shimmer (see the gold shade in particular). Definitely a useful addition at £4.99. Check out the No Photos Palette if you like something darker and more dramatic.

There’s just nothing wrong with the I ♡ Makeup Lipstick Geek lipsticks at £2.99 a pop – plenty of colour saturation that goes on evenly and smoothly and some very creative names (Caught Myself Smiling!) to have fun with. They don’t seem to smell of anything either which in my book is a result.

Wow. I’m impressed on the colour pay off on these swatches. The white on the palette is incredible, white never shows up on any palette x

I feel like I’m showing my age here (I’m still coming to terms with words like selfie and the hashtag thing!) but how is this brand pronounced? I…something Makeup? I’m confused!

        Thank you!

  3. The lipsticks look pretty & pigmented, right up my street. The palette looks slightly chalky but still a great range of shades for the money
