It’s news to nobody that the fragrance arm of a fashion brand is very often what keeps that brand in business! I’m quite invested in Coach as a brand – when I first visited the USA it was little known in the UK and a bag was one of my ‘must buy’ items. You might be too young to remember that at one point you got two dollars for every pound, so shopping felt like half price – I admit to going completely over the top! Literally, everything was a bargain.
The Coach EDT seems a good fit for the brand – it’s airy, rosy and fruity and a very easy wear. It also seems to be fairly long lasting which isn’t something you can say about all brand fragrances.
I also love the bottle – it’s got a pinky-buff leather tag over completely clear glass embossed with the Coach logo. To be honest, it’s a little generic but nothing not to like, really and has a very spring-like feel to it that warms on the dry down to a smooth and suede finish.
Coach bags throw up some surprises – amongst the more traditional totes (and they do a GREAT tote range), there are flowery bags, Felix the Cat bags and studs in a palette that goes from electric bright through pastel, architectural shades and on to more conventional tan, brown and black. The Coach EDT starts at £33 HERE, and the bag is £295 HERE.
