Yes To Scrub & Cleanser Sticks

Yes To Scrub & Cleanser Sticks

I love the idea of these scrub and cleanse sticks from Yes To. Perfect for your gym bag or travel bag (for bypassing your liquids allowance), they’re totally unisex – actually I looked at the Charcoal one and thought it was male skin care – and do two jobs in one.

There’s a ‘but’ coming. Even though you can see the little exfoliating bits, they’re very minor in their scrubbiness – I tested on a very hot day so perhaps it was something to do with that (because the balms were very, very soft when I applied). To be honest I’m not going to flag that against them because they seem to be good, balmy but not too oily, cleansers that left my skin feeling clean and ship shape. The Coconut is hydrating (it has coffee in it – and I’m totally over coffee as a skin care ingredient – claiming to energize skin but it’s more a marketing word than one based in visible skin benefits… has anyone ever said to you, my goodness, your skin looks so energized? No, me neither) while the Charcoal is better for oily or spot prone skin (and boys). I didn’t, incidentally, try it on eye make up as its not billed as a make up remover – just a skin cleanser.

They’re fun, innovative, cheerful and do the job that’s needed – I think not bad at £9.99 HERE

Am wary of stick cleansers, after I had a massive skin/eye reaction to the Tony Moly one. I shall read the ingredients list, carefully.
Thanks Jane. Your blog is still the best of its kind.

I was about to say the same. The only beauty blog worth one’s time

I really dislike this brand, but thoroughly enjoyed this review….spot on about flipping coffee. Haha, excellent!
