[productsample] It’s not a surprise at all that True Skincare scooped a Beauty Shortlist award – it’s a wonderful little brand that’s making extremely decent products at an accessible price.

It’s actually quite difficult to find quality, organic facial oils at prices that don’t make you wince and price creates a very un-level playing field when it comes to skin care. There are literally only three products – Organic Safflower & Basil Balancing Facial Oil, Rehydrating Rosehip & Rosemary Facial Oil and Avocado & Evening Primrose, all at 30ml and all priced at £13.50 HERE. There’s a full ingredient list for each, and it cannot escape anyone’s notice that the list isn’t dissimilar to oils that are four or five times the price. I just feel really happy to see organic oils put within reach of more people who want to care for their skin. I am at my max on testing skin products at the moment so these are surface tested only – I can’t really find anything not to like or anything to suggest they won’t be just as efficacious as other facial oils. The only thing I’d like to see is a bit more about the founder on the website – it’s all just a bit bland back there and needs some personality. Never did Liz Earle any harm, just saying ;-).
