Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap

This stuff is brilliant! Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap is like a can of squirty cream with the densest foam that looks like shaving foam or a tight meringue mixture and feels softer than (I imagine!) a cloud.

I know that the minute you say ‘foam’ a million skin care experts die a little inside but I have found recently that cleansing foams have vastly improved on formula, so forget about any of the drying connotations. I use Erborian Foam Cleanser as the second part of a double cleanse and my skin never feels or acts dry. So, Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap is in the same vein but not as sophisticated in formula, but it is very creamy on the skin and doesn’t dry it out. It certainly seems to do a decent cleansing job but I’d only use it after I’d removed all my makeup with something else – makeup removal is too much of an ask for this.

It’s just a really fun formula – don’t make the mistake of squirting too hard – you only need a tiny bit and a lot comes out at once. It definitely reminds me of the canned aerosol cream (I only know this because when my niece and nephews were little the big treat of coming to stay with us was being able to have squirty cream – no idea how that ever came about but even now they’re a bit older they definitely expect to find it in my fridge!).

Mr BBB got Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap for me on a NYC trip and as far as I know it’s not available in the UK.

  1. Ahh love it. I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile – I love all sorts of fun beauty products – but never really thought foam was too good for me, esp since I have dry skin already. You’ve convinced me to try!

  2. This sounds amazing!!! I’ve to give this a try!

It’s available on Amazon.co.uk for under £16. I haven’t tried the soap but the Egg Mousse Pack which is a moisurising mousse face treatment is seriously addictive!

    Cheapest on Amazon is £12.90

  6. The TCFS egg mouse pack is also brilliant, a 3 minute quick foamy mask to remove impurities, I love this brand!

I’m intersted in this brand as well but it’s quite hard to get hold of them in the UK. However, I was brownsing selfridges.com today and suprise suprise they carry TCFS now! I’m gonna order some products from this egg line.

I just want to say thank you for reviewing this product. Even though this post went up months ago, it obviously made enough of an impact on me that I immediately snapped it up when I saw this in Hong Kong (on sale, equivalent to £5.50!). You’re so right that this is a fun, yet effective product. I’ve been using it on alternate days now (in winter) and it doesn’t feel frying at all! Great find. I bought the Egg Mousse Pack too!
