Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Micellar Cleanser

[productsample/affiliate/priorADrelationship] When I ordered something from FeelUnique (yet another bareMinerals Complexion Rescue) I got a teeny-tiny sample of the Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Micellar Cleanser. The Mega-Mushroom range isn’t one I’ve really had any interest in before but this is a queen of a micellar and despite the fact that I’ve got micellars coming out of my ears, I had to have it after using up the sample.

Actually, I’m pleased to have that little bottle for my travels – I can top it up from the big bottle (there are about 3 cleanses in it). It was instantly noticeable that aside from a great skin cleanse which I expected, my skin felt very smooth after use and not at all dry. It’s £29 which is really at the very top end of what I’m prepared to spend on a micellar but it’s easily the best I’ve ever used and I’ve been a fan of this cleansing method for a long time.

Perhaps there really is something in Dr Weil’s Mega-Mushroom blends that I’ve previously completely ignored.. I don’t know how excited one can get about mushroom though. Or, maybe it’s the berry ferment – whatever it is, if you like a micellar and don’t mind being a bit spendy, I cannot see you’d have a moment’s regret. I found it also removed make-up perfectly and felt extremely gentle while doing so (there is no alcohol in the formula). It’s just one of those YES products and it’s HERE. Non aff HERE.

What do you think of the scent? Personally i looooove it! It is somewhat earthy, not unlike the smell of ginseng.. You know? cheers, Wendy

I don’t find the micellar particularly scented to be honest.. it’s more botanical/essential oil smelling to me. Thankfully it doesn’t smell of mushroons!
