Opinion is divided on whether multi-masking (using more than one mask to target different areas on your face) is a thing or not, but I’ve certainly done it without even knowing it might be a thing! Most commonly, I’ll use a detox or ‘drawing’ mask across my nose and then a hydrating mask elsewhere on my face – I couldn’t see myself using more than two at a time, but I know that some people do. So, if you’ve fancied trying multi-masking, Origins have made it very simple with their little mask pods – you can buy 6 for £12 I believe.
I first wrote about the Origins Mask Pods last year when they’d newly launched, but thought it was worth a re-visit because at that time they came in a set. Now you can get them as singles (in stores.. they don’t seem to be on-line yet) you can spot target whatever your concerns are – or, obviously, use them as single shots before you buy the full size. NB: The pods are available in the Mortimer Street Store and Selfridges (both London) but will be going on line. I’ll flag it up when they do.
I’ve also discovered Origins VitaZing and I have no idea how I missed it when it first launched. If you’re thinking that the formula looks a bit, well, grey, you’re right. However, it’s a self adjust colour formula that gives the most gorgeous, warm looking glow.
I haven’t fully rubbed the swatch in so you can see how the colour emerges, but once across the whole face, it’s a bit of a revelation in hydrating sheer coverage that gives skin a dewy look. It’s also SPF15, and apparently the most popular product for people making their first Origins purchase. I’m immediately a fan of this for low make-up days. It’s £29 HERE.
