[affiliate] I don’t often find things in beauty that I’ve never come across before, but Oh K! Chok Chok Cleanse Beads would count as one.

Looking like a bigger version of colour balancing Les Meteorites, these beads need to be crushed between your fingers before adding water to create a cleansing paste. The paste itself is clay based but it does feel surprisingly creamy.

As you can see, I wasn’t all that successful in my crushing method. I think they’re quite difficult to break down because they’re rather solid to start with and other than the novelty factor, I’m not sure why you’d bother when you can just squeeze some cleanser from a tube or scoop it from a tub. The actual ‘cleanser’ is fine but meh – effort! I like the idea of them for a stocking filler or something really different for a beauty lover but for day to day cleansing, it’s a pass. The price of these varies wildly across the internet – £9.99 at Superdrug, £15 at Look Fantastic, and £10 at AFTERBeauty where I bought them.
