Japanese Sheet Mask Keeper

The most annoying thing about sheet masks? They fall or slide off when you move around. You’re something of a prisoner to your mask if it requires no movement so when a friend from Japan gave me the Silicone Moisture Mask, it changed everything! I’m not hugely a sheet mask fan, not least because of the having to just lie there thing – but that particular irritation is knocked out with this. An additional benefit is that the silicone mask stops the serum from the sheet mask from evaporating (something that’s more prevalent in countries with air con).

That said, you will still look like a Star Trek extra and it relies on hooking over your ears to keep it in place – nothing good will happen if you open your front door while wearing it.

The mask is made of silicone – it’s quite soft and flexible and can be washed and can also be used in the bath without a sheet mask as a face steaming mask because your skin will sweat slightly from the heat of the water. The brand I have is Daiso Japan but you can pick these up on Amazon (HERE) for about £3.

Yes, this works! I got one from local Daiso shop and I use it not only for sheet mask but for any other mask I don’t want to dry out (like clays). Works very well, washes very easily & quite comfortable to wear, too.

  2. I’ve just bought ner Garnier sheet masks, and they have two layes – one is the sheet mask itself, and the second one reminds me of this mask keeper. However, the instruction says to pull it off 🙁 It just makes no sense, so I’ll use it my way just leaving it
