It’s Skin

It’s Skin

This one’s for K-Beauty fans! I’m really glad to see we are still getting new arrivals from K-Beauty brands – this one is dropping any day now at BeautyMart. I don’t know a whole lot about It’s Skin but I do know a whole lot about K-Beauty and as a general rule, despite the Kawaii appearance the products inside are more grown up than the packaging. In the UK we’re still of the mindset that because something looks cute or young, it can’t possibly have anything worthwhile inside, but that’s just not the case. I haven’t put many of these products to the test yet, but it’s such an interesting range that I wanted to show you as soon as possible.

I’ve actually darkened the colour down a bit so you can see the embossing properly on the Babyface Petit Blusher (£6.50) in Sweet Peach and the Highlighter (£6.50), but this is a Pale Skin Girl alert! Each one comes with a tiny ribboned puff and the shades are gentle. If you can’t take much colour on your face these are for you. And, they are so silky feeling.

Ha.. excuse the blu tack that I’ve only just spotted (blogger secrets revealed!) I don’t think I truly know what Cherry Blossom smells like in real life – my only reference point is L’Occitane products! This hand cream (£5) is sweetly scented (the press release says ‘whimisically scented’ which I think they don’t know either if it smells of cherry blossom or not). But it’s a decent hand cream and feels nicely hydrating. The Macaron Balms (Grape and Pineapple) are synthetic smelling, there is no way around that, but I got a blast from the past of Bonne Belle Roller Gloss in terms of fragrance, which I rather liked. They’re £6.50.

As you’d expect from a Korean brand, there are sheet masks – I haven’t tried these yet, but the ones I have been sent are rose and aloe variants. (Oh and the Disney Sheet Masks that I Instagrammed last week are in stock HERE).

If you like the thought of angel wings on your blush or balm in a macaron casing, then you’re in the right place. Find BeautyMart HERE.
