Ipsum Lip Oil Balm

[unpaid/sample] If I could specialise in testing products, I’d absolutely take the lip balm option! Things I know that upset my lips are any change in temperature whether hotter or colder, some lipsticks, a R in the month … you name it, they don’t like it! This lip oil balm from organic brand Ipsum earns its softening and smoothing stripes from a high concentration of antioxidants and high quality oils. Namely, pomegrante seed and macademia with a side order of tomato fruit which contains lycopene which is great for healing – if you have cold sores this oil could be useful for the tail end when you’re left with the dry skin.

Strangely, there’s supposed to be a very light rose scent but I couldn’t detect it at all. It didn’t make a difference to the experience because I only knew after I’d tried it several times that it was supposed to have it there at all. Lip balms and lip oils vary so wildly in content – you can have the exactly the same label for a product and yet they are not in the same family, ingredient wise, not even as distant cousins. This is definitely a thoughtful blend – ingredients aren’t there to fill but to treat and I’m impressed with the quality of it.

Really, you can dot this on any dry patches and see benefits from it. It’s lightly shiny on the lips, a little goes a very long way and it’s COSMOS certified. You can find Ipsum Lip Oil Balm for £19 HERE.

Oh! Anything packed in black gets my attention… Add here golden print – and I’m yours entirely 😀 Thanks for the review! Always nice to consider one more good lippie…

Unless it’s Chanel, I’m not so keen on black packaging for beauty products 🙂
