Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask

[productsample] If you’re up for a bit of a skin treat, I don’t think you be disappointed here. The Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask seems very timely for the weather warming up when we just want the fresh scent of rose and something cooling on our skin.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask

It’s a two section pot – on one side, a cooling gel essence that smells deliciously of rosewater, and on the other, an evening primrose infused moisturiser which feels like an oil-in-gel consistency. You’ll notice straight away that your skin feels immediately cooled and instantly supple.

The gel contains rosewater and hyaluronic acid (no wonder if feels so nice!) while the silky feeling moisturiser is a time release formula which is why it’s an overnight treatment. It’s not what you notice after the first few minutes, but after several hours. It’s light enough that you could use during the day if you have a big evening ahead – and don’t need to go anywhere special til then but ideally, you’d put it on before bed and wake to soft and hydrated skin. I’m absolutely a sucker for rose and Fresh rose fragrances are particularly lovely – fresh and lightly sweet.  John Lewis has it HERE for £44. I will say that a little goes a long way – I know it’s pricey but good for the last, I feel, because you don’t need to slather it for it to do the job. Non affiliate HERE.

So do you apply the gel before the cream to call it a sleeping mask? Is there wait time between the two? *puzzled*

Yes, apply the gel first – it’s got a high water content so isn’t sticky or anything, and the cream just goes over the top – leave a minute between the two.
