Fresh Petal-Soft Deep Hydration Lip Cream

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Here was I thinking I was in the presence of a rosy lip balm, but no – this is a lip ‘cream’ and it’s probably the most softening thing you will ever have put on your lips.

Fresh Rose Petal Soft Lip Cream

The formula is instantly lip softening in a way that most balms are not – not even Sisley, queen of all balms. It’s a lovely formula – rose oil, apricot kernel, blackcurrant seed and grapeseed with Vitamin E (of course) – but I think the secret lies in the first ingredient, Isononyl Isononanoate, a texture enhancing emollient, and then the second which is basically fatty acids.

Fresh Rose Petal Soft Lip Cream

The rose oil adds a kind of aura of petal in that you are aware of a rosy presence but it doesn’t taste of anything and nor is the fragrance strong – so it’s there but unobtrusively so.

It’s £19.50 and properly a treat HERE, non affiliate HERE.

Gorgeous, very wantable indeed. My lips are the one bit of me that have never required moisturisers etc. (Mystified by this, but I’ve often wondered if it’s connected to not using lip balms, though I never leave the house without actual lipstick.)
I wonder if you could use this as a nail/cuticle rescue balm though…divine little pot, and no more expensive than the products aimed at that. Such an enjoyable review, thank you

I don’t think it would double as a cuticle cream – texture isn’t right – it’s kind of too soft and whippy.

How does this compare to the laniege sleeping lip mask? Looks a bit similar!

I suppose it is but I’d say it’s thicker in consistency and more creamy. x
