Dior Hydralife Cleansers

Dior Hydralife Cleansers

Well, this is exciting. I have to admit that these Dior products really do feel like a treat. The messaging is very clear that it’s aimed at younger women but that makes no difference with the cleansers which will be fine of their type for any skin age. I’ve recently come to the end of a batch of micellars (for guiltily cleansing while watching the TV) and weirdly had a long chat with a friend who loves the concept of micellars but finds them drying. So this package was seredipity! The product I like the best is the Micellar Milk. According to the blurb, it’s still using micelles just as a regular micellar water would but within a rice water ‘milk’. This whipped off all my make up (including non waterproof mascara) with absolutely no trouble at all and left more suppleness than a regular micellar. It’s got a light, fresh, rather green scent.

Also a big hit (for me) is the Triple Impact remover which is genius for heavier make up – in my head this is more of a make up remover than a cleanser (but you know a TV night when you’re just not that fussy…) and literally whipped through all of my make up including waterproof mascara. Because of the bi-phase nature, there is more of an oily element to this, but it did leave my skin feeling extremely soft but with some residue. I guess you’d say it’s like an eye make up remover solution, but for the whole face. There’s no need to rinse either (nor with the micellar milk).

The final product that I’ve put to the test is the 2-in-1 Sorbet Water which is a prebiotic skin hydrator – like a Korean/Japanese ‘essence’. I liked it – very skin softening and fresh – but it’s not something I’d automatically feel was essential. I guess it’s what makes a cleanse into a process or ritual and it’s really down to personal choice. Everything is £27.50 each (which is less than I was expecting) HERE. Everybody knows that high street brands have upped their game in cleansers (my last micellars were Simple and Garnier) but these are extra-nice and I’m really enjoying using them.

Non Aff HERE.

You must have read my mind, Jane!

Am a fan of micellar waters. However the ones I have now don’t agree with my skin, recently moved so still stressed

The Micellar Milk is fantastic, leaves my skin feeling soft not tight. Will probably try the 2-in-1 Sorbet Water at a later date

Thanks for all that you do for us, you are much appreciated x
