Coola Sun Silk Drops SPF30

[unpaid/sample] If, like me, you can’t bear the idea of anything weighty on your skin during the summer months, Coola’s Sun Silk Drops could be the answer.

I’ve more or less given up on base during lock down – I’d rather focus on the skin and consider anything else top-dressing rather than feel I have to cover my complexion up. I might feel differently when my tone isn’t warm from the weather and is less glowy than it is now. So, because of the serum formulation of this SPF, it’s very light – very unobtrusive on the skin with no weight to the feel whatsoever. Ideal for a humid, sticky day like today.

The ingredient list is surprising – after the sun screen elements follows aloe vera, neroli oil, hyaluronic acid, bitter orange, olive oil and jasmine so no wonder it feels more skin care than sun screen. The neroli provides the fragrance so it doesn’t smell anything like traditional sunscreens. It’s such a sheer formula but don’t skimp (it’s also really expensive – yet to launch in the UK but it’s really any day now) on it even though it feels rather lavish. I’m wearing it today – very heavy and humid, very sunny, thunder expected – and can’t even feel it. Worth the wait if you don’t mind being spendy. SpaceNK and Cult are both stockists.

Really interested in this, not sure if it will work for oily skin though!

I did see a couple of US reviews that suggested it caused them break outs – so I’d suggest you do a bit of research before investing xx
