[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Before I review the Coola Organic BB+ Skin Tint, I need to give you a reminder that the Sun Silk Drops SPF30 I reviewed a few weeks ago is finally in stock.
I had several emails about it because at the time I reviewed it, it hadn’t quite landed in stores. It’s one of the lightest weight SPFs I’ve ever used so it’s perfect for anyone who can’t bear the feel of anything much at all on their face when the weather is hot. On the plus, the Rosilliance BB+ Skin Tint feels beautiful on the skin – sheer and cool – and with 70% organic content ticks the boxes for anyone focusing on more pure ingredients. It’s more than your average BB cream with rose stem cells as a key skin care item. The claim that it gives luminosity is true – if you like a dewy look you’re in luck – but there’s really not a lot of coverage going on. When I applied (with the brush above), I could detect the white of the mineral as I blended although it disappeared after being on my skin for a few moments. The shade I have is light/medium and other than a sheen on my skin (which is nice) I can’t really detect anything else. There’s a deeper shade which might have been better for my warm tone.
You can only just pick it out on my arm and it’s skewing white, but that doesn’t last, I promise. Coola is really one to watch in the skincare/SPF hybrid arena – they’re ever more inventive and becoming known for their lightness of feel and skin benefits. This product isn’t for me but will be for you if you are fair toned, want more organic content in your sunscreen (and let’s face it, it’s not that easy to find in wearable face formulas) and like a no make up look.
