Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I very rarely wear a primer because I don’t like the feel of layers on my skin but I must say this is a very easy wear indeed. As always with this brand, there are claims aplenty but I’m seeing it really as the answer to daily SPF under make up that sits well, does the job and crucially, doesn’t interact with other products. It’s silicone free which means there is no silicone vs silicone product pilling.

It’s owing a great deal to Asian technology and formulas – something my release readily admits to – where formulas have to be durable through humidity. I put this through its paces in a sweaty yoga class and it came out 10/10 on performance in terms of not feeling cloying on my skin, breathability and hydration.

I can’t say I really saw any porelessness but did appreciate that it didn’t go matte because I prefer a glowy finish. It has an anti-pollution element as well as hyaluronic acid and contains no fragrance. I really think this is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s best offerings yet – it’s £39 HERE which feels reasonable for the performance. This brand has never skimped on formulations (almost – the highlighter brick wasn’t great) and I can see this becoming a best seller. Non affiliate HERE.

Do have to use quite a lot to obtain SPF 50 coverage – or would you put this on top of your SPF?

No, this should give you the protection you need but I need to stress it’s not a sun bathing brand of SPF – it’s an incidental exposure sort (so going about your day to day business) – you’d use it under your base if you’re wearing one.

Can’t imagine that a 30ml container of SPF would last very long . . .
