[unpaid/sample] I’m always a sucker for these lip balms which make the most lovely gifts. Speaking of gifting, I know that this year is a tough one financially and there’s so much more to consider than how much we spend, so I’m going to make extra effort to mix up luxury and affordable. I’m personally paring back this time around because it seems right to be more low key. It’s a difficult balance between showing what’s out there and being mindful of circumstance but just to flag that I’m aware of it and will do my best to be more diligent on the topic.
The thing about these small-batch balms in vintage inspired pill boxes is that the designs are always changing so there’s always something new to catch my eye. All the festive cases are out now – robins, snowy village, 1930’s skiing – but this cat took my fancy because it made me smile. It’s called Shakespeare’s Cat because of its Elizabethan theme. You can choose from vegan or non vegan wax but one of the ingredients, meadowfoam seed oil, is one of my favourites (and I made sure it was in the Japanese Cleansing Cloud) for being particularly skin loving.
There are three shades – pink, red and clear as seen above, and gift wrap options. The balms are £15 each HERE – oh, and they’re refillable so you can change your mind when you’ve used one up and go for a different shade.
