Alteya Organic Bulgarian White Rose Water Hydrolat

[unpaid/sample] Skin spritzing season is almost upon us! At just over £6 (on offer), this refreshing facial spritz is worth snapping up to keep in your fridge for those days when your face is red, hot and irritated. I keep a couple of spritzes in my fridge year round (amazing how hot and annoyed you can also get in January) – currently Caudalie and Magicool, but now joined by Alteya.

The fragrance is lightly rosy – quite a green rose rather than a sweet one – and while not hydrating exactly in the way that a cream would be, it won’t take any moisture from your skin (I found it quite softening). A hydrolat, by the way, is the result of steaming plant extracts, cooling them and allowing the steam to turn back into what is then a plant chemical active water. Nothing not to like here and an absolute bargain! Find it HERE.

Ooh…this is a must. I’m all about botanical skincare, anything rose or orange blossom is my delight. Excellent tip, thanks. (Great as a sort of toner/lotion stage in your cleansing-moisturising routine too.)

This product is really good. I buy 240 ml bottles of their regular rose water but the white rose one is good too. Nice glass bottles with a good quality spray.

  3. This rose water looks great!
