OPI Muse of Milan Collection

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s kind of in the air, isn’t it – that mood shift towards deeper, more moody shades palettes? OPI’s newest collection, Muse of Milan, is absolutely hitting the spot in terms of projecting emotional colour, the sort we instinctively respond to as the seasons shift.

Quite honestly, I want all of these colours on my nails right now! And this only half of the collection – I’ll do the rest next week. I like the Milan theme – it is, after all, fashion central, and one of my favourite cities. I had low expectations of Milan – I overheard someone saying, ‘oh, Milan is so industrial’ and their companion heartily agreed so I really thought I was going to a gloomy factory town. Now, when I think about our trips there, the visit to the canal-side market where I bought a vintage Chanel jacket, the beautiful food we ate, the view from Il Duomo and the trip to the opera where we’d had too much wine and fell asleep – I utterly loved it.

This one, Leonardo’s Model Color, is the star of the group I’ve shown here – a sparkling violet with dark under-layers and it’s the first one I will put on… because I can’t not.

This looks similar to a Chanel Polish from a couple of years ago – I would need to check my collection for the name ( I have an addiction!) the girl at Venice airport gave me the counter bottle as they didn’t have it in stock – that has never happened to me here …

Such nonsense about Milan being (well, looking) industrial! It’s absolutely gorgeous and the Duomo is my favourite cathedral. I went back last year after not going for years, and being the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele made me cry… I can’t wait to go back! 🙂
