[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I remember being scathing about Nail Kale when it first arrived as a concept – I just don’t think nails respond to kale or show any particular benefit from the inclusion of greens in treatment oil. Nails just – or at least mine do – want moisture for that lovely flexibility and smoothness that is indicative of a healthy nail.
I have two go-to nail oils that I swear by – Solar Oil and and UKA 24:25 – and have got much better at remembering to use them because the benefits are so obvious. What I particularly like about these vibrant, oil-filled capsules is that they’re far less likely to go AWOL in my nail drawer (I’ve chipped new polish dredging to the bottom of the drawer for a tiny phial of oil) – what is it about nail oil that makes it invisible?
Each capsule contains the right amount to nourish your nails and cuticles with a bit left over for either toes or to smooth over hands. Like most nail oils, these contain mostly jojoba oil followed by argan and rosehip seed oils, with a dash of kale and celery. I did a flying visit last week to both Yorkshire and Scotland and would have welcomed these to take a couple with me in my make-up bag … a train journey is a good finger nail oiling opportunity! Anyway, they’re brand new, £15 for 30 capsules (it’s unlikely you’ll need to oil every single day so you will have at least a couple of month’s last from the pot) HERE, non affiliate HERE.
