Nails Inc Made In Mykonos

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] There’s a little bit of Dolce & Gabbana about this Nails Inc Made In Mykonos duo I think. I’m really drawn to this set because it really has a holiday feel to it wherever you are going. Once the flip flops are on you can go as wild as you like with toe nails – I’d love to wear this on my fingers but I don’t think my nails are in good enough nick to really made it work.

At first glance, I though the blue shade, Need Some Vitamin Sea, was a bit of a biro blue but in fact it’s really quite luminous and even more so if you use a white base under it. You’re My Sol Mate is the bright white shade that’s shiny and rich enough not to even hint at Tippex. It’s a useful colour to have in your nail line up anyway because under any colour, especially pastels and with the exception of black, it allows for a brighter and more vivid look.

You can either wait until your nails are fully dry (use a quick dry top coat – I went for a manicure recently and they had no quick dry and honestly, I was really cross because they take all the wait out and you can leave in moments without worrying that someone will brush past and ruin a) their clothes and b) your manicure) to apply the stickers or apply while wet. I applied while wet which is the riskier option – maybe the best best is to allow the nails to almost dry and apply the stickers, then apply a quick dry top coat.

I used tweezers to pick up and apply the stickers – I’m far too butter-fingered to do it any other way. As long as you have all your tools and coats ready, this isn’t a long job and it looks so good! There’s an offer I’ve found HERE where the set is £12.80 instead of £16.
