Mavala Autumn/Winter 2022

[unpaid/sample] This collection represents the changing landscape colours at the cusp of autumn/winter running warm to cool. It does explain a couple of colours you couldn’t pay me to put on my nails (well… name a price… ) but maybe my mind will change when what my eyes are seeing outside does. Things always look more attractive when they become obvious and when you see fashion start to reflect them.

So, Perth and Strasbourg at the front are the ones I just don’t see myself wearing, but give me that rich metallic of bronze/brown Sevilla and I’m all over it. I want it on my nails now actually, but I’m heading to Spain for a long weekend (no post on Friday) and think I’ll have my last toe fling with a bright colour til next Spring while I have the chance.

On the wheel from left to right are: Portland which struck me initially as lavender but is described as a cherry blossom pink, Malmo, Strasbourg, Perth, Sevilla and Antwerpen. Four out of the six I would wear with ease. The size of Mavala means you can give some colours a go that you might not otherwise – they’re £5.97 each HERE.

I love that orange Perth! I thought it would be called Seville because of the oranges link. I’ve just bought something similar from Rimmel. Different strokes (literally) for different folks I guess.

      thank you!

  3. How funny to see Malmö, a Swedish city among the listed cities! I will have to get that just for the name, but I like the colour too. And Portland is adorable! This will be nice. Like you I like how small the bottles are.
