Woo – so this is rather lush! There are two additional lacquers from Marc Jacobs paying reference to the fall/winter 2017 show which showed a mix of textures including corduroy, velvet, shearling and sequins teamed with chunky gold, blingy jewels. Predominant colours included burgundy and the designer rather surprised everyone by having no set or music and banned iPhone photography – much to the horror of the iPhone addicted audience, I imagine.
I’d happily wear both of these shades – the darker, blackened wine colour is called Trax and the warm nude shade is called Ladies Night.
I like Marc Jacobs nail lacquers – they’ve always been reliably pigmented with a decent last although the brushes could do with fattening out a bit for one-stroke application. These are glossy and super glam and look every inch the £16 they cost. The pair is launching soon either at Harrods.com or John Lewis.
