I love Kure Bazaar polishes – not least for making a nude shade that almost replicated my beloved Michael Kors polish that was a limited edition and I could never find another. The great thing about this brand is that the formula feels luxurious from the very get-go – it’s full of colour (swatches are one coat), ultra smooth and glamorously glossy. It’s also 10 free – and while any nail polish can never be 100% natural or organic, it’s probably as near as we can get at 90%. Most of its composition is cotton, potato, corn and wheat. I really don’t know how they do it.
The new shades are the blazing red colour, called Love, and the fuschia pink, Rose Punk. I’ve added the other two, Venise (rose gold sparkle) and Or Rose (rose gold metallic) because they’re quite seasonal for parties. Rose Punk and Love made their catwalk debut at Paris Fashion Week for SS18 so there’s a clue to the shades we’ll be loving over the other side of the year.
There’s also a new base coat, Super Base, £19 – it’s made with silicum that helps to strengthen and grow faster. The sell is that it’s for nails that are fragile, damaged and sensitive so I’m going to give it a go. My nails were in terrible condition, improved greatly with Solar Oil, but I still feel they need some more help. I’ve just broken one right down to the edge which is so annoying – but I guess it’s a good test nail for Super Base because I want it to grow back as quickly as possible.
You can find the new shades £15 each at LoveLula.com from November and Super Base is there now HERE.
