I’m a fan of small size polishes (who ever uses a whole polish? almost never in my case) and the best time to scoop them up is in the Christmas collections – the Deborah Lippmann Her Majesty set is £36 and I think it’s great value for a decent mix of metallics and neutrals. All bases covered. This set has already sold out at Selfridges, but I managed to track it to NetAPorter HERE.

There isn’t a shade in this set that I wouldn’t wear (might have sneaked this lot into the ‘keep’ drawer!). Above you can see a closer look at Reign Of Love, Queen of the Night and Blue Blood.

And finally, Hard Rock (quick dry top coat), Crown Velvet and If I Ruled The World.
It’s easily the best nail collection for the season that I’ve seen – great price and great selection. We don’t hear much from this brand throughout the year (or at least, I don’t) but it’s still one of the better polish formulas that I know of. Deborah is a true success story – she began as a manicurist, found herself tending to the tips of the famous (Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow et al) and created her own range. Little known fact, Deborah is also a singer which is why her collections tend to have music inspiration.
