I’m just doing another shout out for the new Chanel Gel Topcoat. I’ve already posted about the new polishes from Chanel HERE, but I’m so impressed with the Top Coat I thought I’d give it another mention now that I’ve been using it for a little while. I’m very hard on any nail varnish, so always think I’m the worst possible tester when it comes to chipping. I’m tapping away at my laptop for hours at a time every single day and it’s usually very apparant by wear on the free nail edge and chips. Most people aren’t so heavy on their nails so for something to keep my polish in almost pristine condition for a week is practically unheard of.
What I’ve also noticed, by using the Chanel Base Coat, new shades and Topcoat is that used together they all but eliminate any signs of ridging. Nail formula updates come and go, but this has really solved my main nail issues. Of course, it just happens to be one of the priciest nail polishes around, but as long as it’s performing I’m quite happy to splash out from time to time. I should add that the actual Topcoat isn’t the glossiest I’ve ever used – the shine is decent enough but not mega-watt. You can find the Chanel Gel Topcoat for £18 HERE.

OK I am officially purchasing. I recently purchased Essie’s gel top coat but anything Chanel is better in my opinion….
