Don’t be alarmed by the Oil-In-Stick part of the title… all it means in this case is that the formula contains oils as well as pomegranate, macadamia butter and hyaluronic acid, which doesn’t make it slippy or greasy. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick is actually a beautiful, lip comfort formulation, and while this is not new news, there are 12 new shades for spring.
Yes, I’m also trying to decide if that little heart jelly looks like a bottom. But, it’s staying.. it took so long to get it out of the packet! Back to YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick – the new shades are all on the brighter side of things, and for a lipstick with this oil formula, the pigments are good. I got far more colour than I was expecting.
The shades I have to show you are: Fuchsia Stiletto, Baume Midi Minuit (shimmer) and Rose Rive Gauche. I’m wearing Fuchsia Stiletto now and I am certain it’s done some lip smoothing – it’s a very flattering formula. And so you would hope at £26 each. Yikes. But, there is something quite special about them.. the casing is heavy and glamorous – you feel like you have something luxurious in your hand..
The new YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick shades launch on 24th February.
