Trish McEvoy Veil Lip Colour

[productsample/affiliatelinks] I posted about a reintroduction to Trish McEvoy last week and just have two more products to tell you about – the Veil Lip Colours. I thought ‘veil’ meant that they’d be very lightly pigmented, but in fact they’re highly pigmented but in a silky ‘veil’ like formula.

If you’re picky about how lipsticks feel on your lips (I am) then these will be a revelation because they’re made to a kind of melty formula that you just can’t really feel on your lips. I thought from the texture that they contained hyaluronic and yet it doesn’t appear anywhere on the ingredient listings. The shades I have are Wild Rose and Dressy Red – both gorgeous, enlivening shades that will suit most tones.

Wild Rose is a peachy red while Dressy Red has some blue tone to it. The finish is lightly sheeny and I found the last to be good but not to a long last level. I think it’s hard to say how long a lipstick will stay on anyone else – even the long last formulas will disappear fast if you eat oily food or are constantly sipping at tea or coffee. The art of keeping a lipstick it’s full stated time relies on not eating, speaking or drinking, I’m sure! I never mind about refreshing the colour – to me, it just seems like part and parcel of wearing lipstick.

The Veils are £27 each HERE. Non affiliate HERE.

Is the Dressy Red going to be added at a different date. I don’t see if listed as a choice on the website.

I don’t know – it might be at another stockist – if you put Trish McEvoy UK into google the options will come up. At the time of posting it was available but maybe there were only one or two and they’ve subsequently gone x
