If you’re like me, the bottom of your handbag is swilling with lipsticks, glosses, blushes and brushes – plus two or three mini hair brushes in case one fails… ;-). If you’re like Trish McEvoy, you have everything in one very orderly place – gosh, I’d love to peer into her bag! I’m imaging she probably keeps her handbags in their dust bags when not in use and maybe stores her shoes in their boxes if this very orderly palette is reflective of its creator.
In the front pocket of this gorgeous suede looking holder live four brushes (notice how the blush brush head and handle is flattened down to keep it flush to the seam) and a bronze/brown gel eyeliner.
In the back pocket slots this palette that has a blush, highlight and bronzer along with three neutral textured shades. It’s a very easy wear. I actually spoke about it during a Facebook Live yesterday wondering whether it’s good value for a £55 spend and mostly the people watching and chatting along with me thought that for what you get, it’s very good value. *NB I’ve now discovered that it’s £82! Not quite such a bargain!
My one critique is that the blush shade is very light – it’s sort of a peachy colour but if you’re a pale gal, then it’s going to be just right. It seems to be a considered purchase items – a thoughtful buy that cuts out the need for more make up clutter and if my prediction is right that we’re all up to here with make up, things like this are the way forward. I don’t think it’s part of any Christmas ranges, and it’s not hit on-line yet (but check Selfridges and Liberty, the main stockists over the next couple of days) but it has been spotted at counter in Liberty.
