One/Size Fantasize Mascara

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m just starting to through my samples from the Sephora launch – I started with One/Size mascara and it turns out it was a very good place to begin!

One Size Fantasize Mascara

Although the brush size looks bigger than my favourite skinny brushes it works in exactly the same way with short, flexible rubber bristles that coat the lashes individually and thoroughly. It’s a curl and lengthen mascara and I was impressed at how much more open my eyes looked – there is discernible hold although I would stop short of saying curl, exactly.

In the wear, I didn’t experience any flaking or smudging and was impressed with how black the formula is. You can wear One/Size Fantasize Mascara at one coat and you have a beautifully defined, lash sharpened look, but if you go more then you have impact and amplification. I was super impressed with this – it’s got softening oils so you don’t get lash crisp and contains a flex peptide which helps with the lift which is more noticeable than most. One/Size Fantasize Mascara behaves like you hope all mascaras will – some do and some don’t – and if you’re looking for reliability, impact, hold and endurance, you have it here.

One/Size Fantasize Mascara is not cheap at £25 HERE . The little foundation sponge came in the sample selection – and I love a happy face so couldn’t resist including it although I can’t find it on the Sephora site. I know we are a bit short on posts this week but I took a day off to take my nephew to the theatre – it was originally his 14th birthday present and we finally got there for his 16th birthday! I’m still trying not to push myself too hard and there is just a sprinkling of Covid leftovers so I’ll leave it there and wish you a happy weekend 🙂

Hello Jane, I have a crush on the foundation sponge, I thought it was supposed to be a winking piece of toast 😉 – which reminded me of your legendary fruit models.

  2. Do you have long covid
Your posts are a ray of sunshine
    Have a great weekend
( currently car bound waiting for the baby to wake up)

I don’t think I have long covid – lots of people have said it takes them about 4 months to feel fully better and I’m SO much better but still get tired quite quickly and I’ve had a busy week. Thank you ever so much for asking and so glad you are enjoying the posts. Hope baby wakes up soon!

I got an email about this mascara the other day. It says flake proof and sweat proof. Is it tubing??? At 50 I am still on the hunt for THE mascara. I really struggle with transfer and panda eyes with regular mascaras but can’t find a tubing one that I love. Having said that, there are probably lots that I haven’t tried because companies seem to want to keep tubing mascaras a secret.

I don’t think it is tubing – I didn’t get that impression when I took it off and there’s nothing on the packaging to suggest it is.

Ah well, thank you for replying. The hunt is still on.

It’s weird that brands don’t mention that they are tubing isn’t it… I mean Clinique is the classic one and Blink Brow Bar does a very good one. x

It’s so strange. And even stranger that they don’t tell their counter staff. I bought the newer Clinique one when it was released. I asked at the counter for the”‘latest tubing mascara” because I couldn’t remember the name of it. I got the stock answer of “all our mascara comes in tubes”. I tried to buy the L’Oreal one (red and white double ended tube) the other day but after being advised again, that all mascaras come in tubes, after I described it, was told it had been discontinued.

You’re right – it IS strange!

  4. Maybe I missed the point somewhere. Is it water resistant? Thanks for the review!

I see your point – my blurb here says ‘sweatproof’ and ‘smudge resistant’ so they’re completely not making it clear. I would say yes – water resistant would sum it up well.. not waterproof (don’t dance in the rain in this!). When I wore it, I found it had very good stay and last and there was no smudging at all, not even at the end of the day but I wasn’t in a water situation with it. I’ve heard others review it as better than some waterproofs because it stays put without claiming as such.
