Wow! So, the new MAC Galactic Glitter & Gloss is SUPER glittery! I know that glitter is a contentious issue at the moment – I’ve been doing some research on the subject and eco-glitters in particular and think that it is only a matter of time before all brands make the switch if manufacturers can produce good enough quality. Looking at biodegradable glitters alongside glitters like these – they’re really not there yet. What I will flag though is that glitter is a very, very small offender in ocean cluttering; the main offenders are cars whose emissions form minute particles that join any nearby water to act as run off into seas. So, while it’s important to be mindful about glitter, it’s far lower on the list than you’d imagine.
The two Lipglass samples I have here are Shapeshifting Peach and Juju Pink – they’re both milky shades flashed with pearl and occasional twinkles but there are 13 to pick from. They’re £15.50 each HERE.
As you can see, the Galactic Glitters are fairly beaming away in sunshine. Personally, I’m not at all into loose glitters – it’s not like you can’t buy just about everything already glittery so I just don’t have any need for them. I think they’re more of a make up artist thing where they like to mix their own special combinations. The shades I have are: Platinum, Yellow Gold and Copper but there are seven to pick from as well as six holographic glitters and some heart and star glitter shapes.
They’re all £16.50 HERE. Just checking at the MAC site, there’s a great little free offer for spends over £60 using code FIRE – a little black M‧A‧C Neoprene Makeup Bag, Liptensity Lipstick (full size) in Fire Roasted, Liptensity Lip Pencil (full size) in Fire Roasted, In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash (1g), Strobe Cream (6ml), Prep + Prime Skin (6ml), Cleanse Off Oil (6ml).
