Don’t confuse the MAC Cremesheen Pearl Collection with any kind of frosting – although it’s made to have a pearl finish, it’s exceptionally subtle and if anything, just adds light reflection to the existing shine rather than add obvious shimmer. If you really, really look there are tiny shimmer dots in it, but to me, not obvious.
MAC Cremesheen Pearl CollectionThe MAC Cremesheen Pearl Collection comes about from requests from Asia where pearl finish is a huge trend (I’m told). The colours I’ve been sent are anything but shy – gorgeously vibrant, gleaming colours that are bright and glossy. In fact, it’s the lipstick finish that behaves more like a strong pigment gloss on the lips. I like it – it’s very forgiving on lip creases for a start, so if you’re matte averse, head straight to this collection.
The shades I have to show you are (from bottom to top) OBI Orange, Pretty Boy and Sweet Sakura. However, there are ten shades of Cremesheen Lipstick and five Lip Glasses (also with sheen) in the permanent collection which launches in August.
I’m sort of getting caught up in MAC again – they’ve been on a bit of a roll of late and it’s all good. Surely there’s something awful on the way? 🙂
