KURE Bazaar Lipsticks Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] The brand new lipsticks from Kure Bazaar are very much living up to expectations. I’m going to flag up my one and only criticism first – that the lipsticks themselves don’t have the colour names on the labels. They’re on the box but it’s a fantasy to think that they’ll always be kept in their boxes and if you’re as forgetful as me, this is an issue! Other than that, I’m all in on these, particularly the satin and balm textures.

The saturation level is excellent – amazing, in fact and all the more so in that the formula is 100% natural (and vegan, obvs) with cranberry (organic, but don’t see the point unless everything else is), wild mango, pomegranate, shea butter, cocoa butter, argan oil and coconut oil which is a very pleasant-on-the-lips line up. In the picture above, it’s Couture (matte). Lipstick (satin), Rose Punk (balm) and So Vintage (satin).

In the first picture, it’s So Vintage in satin and I think it has a really good amount of sheen to it, and the second is Lipstick, again, a satin, and I absolutely love this colour (if not the rather imperfect application in the shot!).

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Couture in the first picture to matte lovers – such an impact! The second picture is Rose Punk balm – a kind and easy wear. I got a bit of a fragrance shot that reminded me of Estee Lauder 1990’s lipsticks – that slightly waxy sweet floral but they’re not high fragrance by any means and it’s natural origin fragrance.

Better yet, they’re refillable. Each lipstick comes with a little reclaimed denim sleeve so you can keep it shiny if you wish. Refills for the 28 shades will be available shortly – the price for the lipstick is £32 HERE but obviously refills will be less.

Both Lipstick and Couture look great on you, Jane! I wonder if the case has no label because it is meant to be refillable, so the customer can interchange different colors into the same holder? But even if that were the case, the company still needs to affix a label somewhere on the refill so that customers can readily identify the colors. Who keeps their lipsticks in the original packing boxes?? I am unsure what the best solution is for this issue. (I probably have too much free time on my hands, and a certain level of compulsion, because I found huge satisfaction in using a label maker to add tiny tags to the tops of my Lisa Eldridge lipstick cases to identify their shades.)

Oh yes, good point. I hadn’t thought through that one and now you’ve said label maker, I am mentally labeling many, many things!
