Ooh – these new liquid lip creams from Isadora really are a treat for those who love a power packed lip colour! The product itself isn’t new but this is a fresh batch of colours – note that there is only one neutral shade and one red with the rest being pink toned. I find this interesting because it’s not so long ago that I would have expected the entire line up to be dominated by neutral tones – maybe we are moving away properly now from the beige lip look.
Texture wise, the cream is super light on the lip but the applicator delivers quite a lot of product that’s not entirely necessary. So, go light and add more if needed! The pigment is beyond rich – very, very strong and the wear is completely comfortable but I think I would be more inclined to apply this with a lip brush than the wand because when you’re dealing with such strong colours in a fluid formula it’s too easy to colour outside the lines so to speak. They do feel as though they are very high quality.
Shades from bottom to top are: Rose Rush, Pink Please, In Red, Blush Babe, Cashmere and Raspberry. The Isadora collections are available from Feel Unique – these haven’t launched yet (they have a few of the existing shades, in the sale too HERE) but do keep an eye – I think they’re a beautiful formula and a good seasonal change up for a colour hit.
