[productsample] There are several parts to the overall ‘Bronzing Glow’ look from Isadora – a beautiful palette and lip products that I’ll get to next week – but for now it’s a skin focus.
There are four shades of the oil free Face Primer which has an SPF of 30 – nothing for very deep tones which seems like a mis-step from this brand. The shades are Transparent Glow, Sand Glow, Sun Glow and Bronze Glow. It’s a gel cream texture so does a nice job of blending while feeling hydrating and of course, you can wear it on its own as a sheer skin tint because while the finish is transparent, there is a ‘perfecting’ element. The finish across all is pearly-glow (i.e. a bit sparkly) which isn’t for me but I see its place on summer skin and I felt it was quite strongly mattifying when I tried it on my (non-oily) skin. SPF30 is very decent and if you’re following the trend for natural skin finishes, it’s definitely one to consider. It’s £19.95 HERE non aff HERE.
I’m absolutely in love with the Highlighting Crayons (in 4 shades of which I have Gold and Bronze above). They’re super-creamy with a metallic/glowy finish and you can use them wherever you like. Because they’re so glidey, they’re perfect for buffing with a brush onto cheeks, but because of their ‘stick’ format, they’re equally easy to use on eyes and lips. There is a waterproof element to them (handy for poolside) and on my skin, lasted well. They’re not the absolute full-on glow; a bit more subtle and delicate than that and I can see myself wearing them more on lids than cheeks, but nice to have the option of wherever you feel like it. At £10.95 HERE non aff HERE I think they’re a nice buy for summer bags especially if you’re only an occasional ‘glow’ wearer. If you’re pale opt for the Crystal Glow. They’re quite melty so don’t leave them in the sun.
In the swatch, it’s Bronze, Gold, Bronze Glow and Transparent Glow.
